Principles and Values

Mision

To share the love of God by promoting the development of the family, without discriminating against anyone. We especially support children and youth of limited financial resources with the goal of giving them a sense of dignity as God’s creation.

Vision

To be an institution that promotes the individual and comunity development of the target population, facilitating strategies for the building of a culture of holistic peace.

MAMA bases its work on Anabaptist-Mennonite Biblical principles of service to the most needy. We endeavor to follow the example of Jesus in his love and concern for the whole human being.

MAMA has the following principles as its basis for service:

• Every Christian has the responsibility to work for the good of his/her church and community
• Christian service should be inclusive, because or God’s love doesn’t exclude anybody
• Christian service is driven by the love and compassion of God, and is especially concerned with the well-being and needs of those who are most vulnerable
• As children of God we are the salt and light of the earth. God has placed the church in the world to serve and be a blessing to society
• We have been created and placed on this earth to join God in taking care of his creation
